I have had the pleasure of knowing CJ and his family for many years. More recently, I have had the privilege of investing directly with CJ on several ventures ranging from a female-founded VC to supply chain real estate in Columbus Ohio. In all cases I have found CJ to be attentive to all details of the investments and informative in keeping all investors current with updates and status reports.
More importantly, I can personally testify as to his work ethic, integrity, honesty and genuine concern for the investors funds and interests. Specifically, despite the trying economic times, he went above and beyond in recasting the mortgage(s) on the Ohio venture at more favorable terms. In fact, he advanced his own funds, rather than making a capital call, in order to expedite the refinance in a timelier fashion. I have already committed to his next venture and have all the confidence in CJ that he will do all that is necessary to ensure that it is successful and benefits all those that take part in this new endeavor.
